Explain the three processes that make up the water cycle.

Evaporation (and evapotranspiration) which is the process of water evaporating from the sea, rivers, plants etc into the atmosphere.

Condensation which is the cooling of the evaporated water (water vapor) to form water droplets which form clouds.

precipitation which is the process of the water being released from the clouds in the form of rain, snow, ice or hail.
