If a map with these graphic scales is enlarged along with the scales

Graphic scales, like those that have a bar with some number of units like miles, feet, kilometers assigned to a certain distance will survive enlargement and reduction. Verbal scales and fractional scales like 1"=1 imle or 1:24,000 will be useless if a map is enlarged or reduced.
