    Neptune is gas giant tat is 17 times larger than the earth. The nearest star being Alpha Centauri has an average distance of 4.5 billion kilometers from the earth. Neptune is at 4.4 billion kilometers from the earth i. e about 30 Au from the sun and the alpha Centauri a and b are at approx 4.3 billion km from the earth. Thus it has a greater orbital radius than Neptune 15,299 miles with 164.8 years of average distance.
