    B. a peace treaty with Egypt's Ramses II

    Explanation:

    1. The Egypt and the Hittites had been battling each other since many years over the east Mediterranean region.

    2. The Battle of Kadesh took place when Egypt tried to invade Kadesh, now Syria, and were interfered by the Hittites. This battle led to heavy losses, manpower and other resources, on both the sides and continued for about two centuries.

    3. Following the indecisiveness in the battle over Kadesh, a treaty was signed between both the rulers. The treaty, however, did not include Kadesh.
