Explanation:
As the middle colonies spanned from the mid-Atlantic region of America and were temperate climate, large agricultural kinds of crops normally grow grains and oats. Geography ranged from coastal plains to piedmonts along the coastline. And this attracted immigrants as the region had an abundance of natural resources. This area was good for harboring ships and was known as a breadbasket. Due to large wheat, rye grew here. The middle colonies lived successfully and had a diversely large economy. Big cities like Philadelphia and New York were major hubs of trade and transport in which blacksmiths and cobblers contributed to the economy.
