However, in terms of size the two species differ greatly, the mouse lemur is the smallest lemur existing species as they size of thee lemurs is only about 11 inches and its weight is around 30 grams; on the other hand, the indri is the biggest species of lemur as the size of these lemurs is 27 inches and their weight is around 8 kilograms. Despite this, the indri is not the biggest lemur species that has ever existed as there is evidence in the past there were lemurs as big as modern gorillas.
