There exists about 3,800 minerals on earth i. e approx 30 to 50 new mineral discovered each day.

    Explanation:

The earth is divided into various zones and these zones contain lots of mineral deposits and most commonly occurring deposits include, quartz, the mica, the olivine, and feldspar. Quads and silica are the minerals most often identified as roughly 60 of the earth's crust are made up of feldspar. Mica sheets can found in the form of thin sheets of white and dark bands of rocks. As most minerals are identified by there physical properties like hardness their luster their color, specific gravity, and cleavage, etc. The native class of minerals is based on elements like the silicates, oxides, sulfides, sulfates, the halides, the carbonates, and phosphates, etc. All based on all the three rocks like the igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic.
