    Explained

    Explanation:

The turbidity means the different visual appearance of water such as cloudy, muddy, opaque, thick, etc. as compared to its natural watercolor. Based on this property of water we can say that either this water is within the range of water quality or not? Similarly, based on the sediment concentration such as mud, silt, sand and clay we also can differentiate whether the water is within the quality range or not. More the concentration of such sediments less will be the water quality and vice versa. Also, in combination with sedimentation concentration and the water turbidity we can easily determine the water quality in the catchment area. Turbid water generally contains more soluble as well as insoluble colors, bacteria, algae and sand, silt, clay-like sediments whereas high quality neither has turbid nature nor contain sediments and soluble colors.
