    They included Canada (In which there is huge French presence to this day), including Acadia.

    The Illinois Country, a region in the Midwest.

    Louisiana, another place with solid French presence to this day.

    The French attemped to estabilish a presence in Florida, however they were beaten by the Spanish. So Florida was not a district area of New France.
