    Answer is:

    a) watermelon being run over by a steamroller is a shear stress.

    b) a person diving into the deep end of a swimming pool is a confining pressure.

    C) playing a game of tug - of-war is a tensional stress.

    d) Kneading bread dough is a compressional stress

    e) slipping on banana peel is shear stress.

    The explanation:

    a) when the shear stress is that force which affect on the body by slippage on a plane of the body, and here, the ground is the plane and the watermelon is pushed by slippage on the ground by steamroller.

    b) when the confining pressure is the pressure which caused by the effect of the weight overburden the body, and here the water in the pool is the weight that is overburden the body of the diving person which cause the confining pressure.

    c) when the tensional stress is the force which is resulted from the pull body a part which perpendicular to the surface of the body, and here, playing a game of tug-of-war is represent a force of pull the rope apart so it is a tensional stress.

    d) when the compressional stress is like squeezing surface of a body when the force is perpendicular to the body surface. and here Kneading bread dough is represent squeezing the bread dough so, it represent a compressional stress.

    e) when the shear stress is that force which affect on the body by slippage on a plane of the body, and here, the slipping on a banana peel is a shear stress as the slipping force on the banana represents the shear stress.
