Soils containing elevated concentrations of Na + and Ca2 + ions are often associated with particular vegetation patterns. Explain what these vegetation patterns are and how they are thought to develop.

    Answer and Explanation:

    If the concentration of sodium is very high in soil then there is more chances of rapid osmotic movement. Some salts are toxic for vegetation so the vegetation can hold high amount of salt are usually seen in coastal region because they are sodium tolerant.

    Calcium is used for activation of enzymes and it also responsible for the movement of water in the plants cell. It is also important to absorb other nutrients in plants
