What would happen if plate motions were reversed?

A. A volcanic arc would form

B. New, younger mountains would form

C. A continental rift would form

D. An oceanic trench would form offshore

    A continental rift would form at the convergent boundary.

    But this would NEVER realistically happen as far as I know. The closest thing to this would be an aulocogen which is a failed rift
