The atmosphere plays an important role in modulating the precipitation and also in the radiative forcing at the land surface, through the radiative effects of clouds, trace gases including carbon dioxide, water vapour and aerosols ... Clouds are the prime regulator of the energy exchanges in the atmosphere.

Well to make it simple and fast if we didn't have no atmosphere then we would be breathing toxic which is no Bueno and there would be no clouds and clouds are a main thang even though they look like smoke there really us-full when it comes to what and vapes cause the clouds extract water from the ocean.
