    The answer is; A

    In subduction zones, one of the colliding plates (usually the oceanic plate because it is denser), it subducted under the other plate (usually the continental plate because it is less dense). This region is prone to earthquakes due to the enormous stress between the colliding plates due to friction. The overlaying continental plate folds up into fold mountains (like the Himalayas mountains) at the boundary due to this stress.
