Compared to the deepwater horizon spill in the gulf of mexico why would a spill in Alaska be so catastrophic

A spill in Alaska would be bad because well number one because its an oil spill and there is fish and other animals in the water that can be harmed by the oil spill. Also, Alaska don't have enough resources and stuff to clean it up, also it would take a while to clean up the oil spill depending how big it is.
