The Hawaiian Islands were formed due to rising of magma plume from the mantle.

    Explanation:

Hawaiian Island was formed due to volcanic activities. Normally, islands form along the boundaries of the tectonic plates, however, Hawaii Island is located approximately 2000 miles from the closest plate tectonics.

Due to the difference in its occurrences as compared to other islands, scientists concluded that it occurred due to the presence of a hot spot. The hot spot is the region in the Earth's mantle where heat rises producing magma which later cools at the earth's surface and solidifies.
