    The correct answer is - (1) cooler temperatures.

    The bigger the distance from the equator the lesser the angle at which the sunlight falls on the surface of the Earth. The smaller the angle of the sunlight the lesser the heating because of the greater dispersal of the sun rays which cause cooler temperature.

    The bigger the elevation from the sea level the lesser the temperature. This is due to the fact that the air losses on thickness with increasing the height, that means much less particles which turns into less material for absorbing heat.

    When there is an increase in distance from the equator and increase in elevation above sea level, there will be a decrease of temperature resulting to cooler surrounding. This is because as the sea level increases, this will be an evidence that there is no heat energy that cause the water to evaporate from the sea. When water do not undergo evaporation, then the sea level will increase.
