There's a list of countries and dependencies on Wikipedia.

Out of the 249 places on the list, 169 of them (68%) are

smaller than the United Kingdom.

A few of them are:

Vatican City, Bermuda, Singapore, Hong Kong, Lebanon, Jamaica, Bahamas,

Fiji, Kuwait, Israel, El Salvador, Rwanda, Haiti, Albania, Armenia, Belgium,

Taiwan, Cuba, Switzerland, Netherlands, Denmark, Costa Rica, Sri Lanka,

Ireland, Panama, Austria, Jordan, Portugal, Hungary, North Korea, South Korea,

Iceland, Guatemala, Bulgaria, Liberia, Honduras, Nicaragua, Greece, Nepal,

Bangladesh, Tunisia, Uruguay, Cambodia, Syria, Laos, Romania, Ghana, Uganda.

One country that would be smaller than England are the Maldives, since they are a serious of islands that are only roughly 300 square kilometers in area.
