Why does the atmospheric temperature increase with altitude in the stratosphere

    It doesn't, it gets colder as you go higher.

    In the ozone layer of the stratosphere UV radiation is absorbed from the sun which causes an increase in the motion of ozone molecules. Therefor causing the temperature to rise.
