How would the building of underwater cities contribute to the fastest growing environmental science fields?

    Underwater those scientists could go out into the water and possibly find a plant that could grow superfast because of some cells it has. Well those scientists could extract those cells from that plant and put the cells in another plant. So then that plant grows Superfast.
