Why do geologists study landforms?

    They study landforms and its caracteristics such as elevation, slope, orientation, stratification, rock exposure, and soil type because can be a mineral deposits or can give some information about fossils.

    To understand the world from its beginnings and its evolution until now have, and to have a better knowledge about the rocks, mountains etc.
