The camels are mainly located in dry desert areas like northern Africa such as the Sahara and in countries like Morocco and Egypt and the reason for this is because they can go for a long time without water as they can store it in their body partly because they don't sweat much (they have a low body temperature) and also their hooves can walk fairly easily in sand as they spread out
