Dinosaurs were at some time in the area. Just because there are no bones does not necessarily mean they were not there. Sometimes the sediment and land is not conducive to creating fossils, althouogh footprints found in the location are definitive evidence that dinosaurs were once there. Such is the case in the Kimberly region, for example, in Australia. Paleontologists have determined that fossils were not produced there because they were probably lacking necessary conditions.
