A divergent boundary is different than a convergent boundary in that

    The answer is B. Convergent boundaries collide with each other, the denser plate subducting and the other buoyant plate rising thus making mountain ranges (ex. Himalayas). Divergent boundaries move away from each other, and when a hotspot is below or near, makes volcanos (ex. Hawaiian Islands).
