There are more than one city on the High planes in Texas, and some of them are: Armadillo (190 000 people), Lubbock (270 000 or 315 000 with suburbs - it's also among the 100 most populous cities in the US!, but only 11th in Texas.), Pecos (10 000), Odessa (110 000)
