From a volcanic eruption, volcanic ash can be thrown into the atmosphere, and it can also be poisonous, killing animals and humans. From earthquakes, it is possible for cracks in the earth to open up, like sinkholes. In a very powerful lightning storm, you can get hail, and wind might rip trees from the ground. From landslides and mudslides, houses, animals, and humans can be killed from the amount of land/mud flowing down, and it can block roads off.
