Why are carbon dioxide and water vapor such important components in the earth's atmosphere? what would happen to life forms on earth if these gases were no longer present in the atmosphere

    Well, you know. Carbon dioxide is what trees breath in, we breath it out. All trees would die. They give us oxygen so we and all other life forms would die. Ya. It would be an apocalypse.
