    The Liberator was a newspaper written by William Lloyd Garrison and Isaac Knapp in 1831. In this magazine, Garrison swore that he was committed to the abolition of slavery.

    Garrison was quoted as saying that he wanted the "immediate and complete emancipation of all slaves." Even though this magazine was not widely circulated, it was extremely influential in the abolitionist movement.
