We know that the country did not take Washington's advice on political parties-have we fallen into the pitfalls that Washington feared we would if political parties developed?

    To consider adapting the political party system as a pitfall is too final. Washington may had great foresight and was aware of the disadvantages of having the country torn between two sides but he dismissed the people's capacity to rise up. Perhaps the political party system does only bad things to the country and if so, the country in itself will take out what's not essential. Maybe in the future, the political party system will be removed just like how Washington wanted it to be.
