Why did Thomas Paine title his pamphlet "Common Sense"?

    Because he felt that it was common sense for the colonies to declare independence from England. Good luck!

    The reason it was called that is because it was literally asking the people to have common sense and for them to want to declare their Independence from Great Britain.
