What was the strategy called island hopping? A way to keep our extra troops and equipment hidden from the Japanese. Going from island to island by war ship to investigate the Japanese presence on the island. A great way to take a long vacation. Invading just the islands with low Japanese populations to establish military bases. An Easter time game.
