    The Constitutional Principle of Separation of Powers was written by Charles-Louis de Secondat, Baron de La Brède et de Montesquieu, or simply referred to as Montesquieu. He was a French lawyer and political philosopher during the Age of Enlightenment of the 18th century. His work has since been used by many constitutions in different countries.
