    As a result of the civil war the american politics was radically changed. These benefits the southern planters which regained economic and political status lost during the war. The south also desired capital to reconstruct railroads and make other inner developments and those needs produced a resurgence of the south in the post-civil war years that gradually transported new prosperity to the region. B efore the result of the civil war t It was hard won and many of the fatalities feel pain by the association were never recovered. The economic ups and downs of the industrial era frequently hit the south particularly hard. The south was not always seen as a fortunate region for the speculation of capital especially in periods where capital was in short supply and railroad building inclined to be concerted in the trans-mississippi zone.
