Why did Andrew Jackson remove many government workers from office after becoming president?

a. to replace ineffective, poorly-trained staff

b. to surround himself with loyal supporters

c. to win the support of his opponents

d. to fill Congress with lawmakers who agreed with him

    Its either b or d I am no so sure because it was done to make room for his own party because it was the spoil system in which the governmental positions would go to party members, not to those who actually deserve it.
