How did the stamp act contribute to the Boston massacre

    It required colonist to house British troops (to save Britain money). The Boston Massacre occurred when angry colonists threw snowballs and oyster shells at the troops - a demonstration of colonial frustration due to the presence of the British army. The soldiers fired into the crowd to protect themselves from the mob.
