As time goes on, more and more things happen, adding more history to our world. In early times, they still had history, though it was hard to teach and not as much was known. Also, in modern times, we have proper teaching systems and we have much of our world's history documented. In Early times, not many people had access to this information, and there was not nearly as much history then as there is now. For instance, in 1779, we did not know about the terrorist attack on the twin towers on 9/11 2001. We also did not know about the world wars then, but we do now, and we know much more now.
