What groups were targeted during The Red Scare of 1919? Why?

    Immigrants from southern and eastern Europe were thought to be mostly anarchists. The immigrants would work for lower pay and that also impacted the 1919 Red Scare. The Sacco and Vanzetti trial typified the Red Scare era of 1919.
