    grande odalisque by jean-auguste-dominique ingres was a painting a bout an exotic women laying naked on top of a throne with a seductive manner.

    Feminist community believe it does not represent the true role of women in nineteenth-century french, but only displayed what the majority of people believed what the role of women is (sex objects)
