8/9 - 4 / 27
24/27 - 4/27 = 20/27
Find the least common multiple for 9 & 27, which is 27
9 x 3 = 27
what you do the denominator (bottom) you must do to the numerator (top)
8 x 3 = 24
Now that you have like denominator, subtract numerators 24-4 = 20
Which gives you 20/27 in it's simplest form
