What were stalin's motives in supporting communist governments in eastern europe?

    Stalin's motives or objectives was through supporting communist governments in Eastern Europe, Stalin at three main goals. One of the goals was to have all of the workers around the world revolt. Another goal is to keep his border save it under communism. By doing this it provides the Soviet union with more protection. He also wanted to keep Germany a divided country.
