3. Historians generally rate Franklin D. Roosevelt as one of the three greatest American presidents. Describe at least three of Roosevelt's accomplishments that would lead historians to rank him so highly.

1 - He was the president during the Great Depression, which was the poorest time America has ever had economically.

2 - During the Great Depression he started The New Deal, which was a package of programs and deals that picked America up providing many of the social services and retirement programs we still have.

3 - During his presidency he developed polio, which was at it's height than, and he still completed his term with his wife by his side (Eleanor Roosevelt).
