    The answer which resulted from the 1913 coal miners' strike in Ludlow was A) The Colorado National Guard opened fire on the miners' tent city.

    The National Guard didn't really care for their strike (or their lives, it seems) - they wanted the strike to stop so they fired at the city to shut them up.
