Amendments are the articles that make up the U. S constitution. There are twenty-seven amendments. The first ten of these are more commonly known as the Bill of Rights.

Amendments are part of the constitution of the United States, and are rights of the Citizens inside the United States.
There are 27 amendments currently, and an example of one is the 1st amendment: The right of free speech.
