    The ratification process, as stated by the seventh Article is the process where at least 9 out of the original 13 colonies needed to approve of the constitution.

    The ratification process of the constitution is the process by which the concerned parties give their written approval of the constitution. For a constitution to be ratified a specific portion of the concerned parties must give their consent to the law. Article VII, which is the final article of the constitution requires that before the constitution can become a law, the document has to be ratified by nine states out of the thirteen states.
