How old were the trees that Muir was describing

The giant redwoods of Muir, have an average age of 800 to 900 years, while its height is of 100 and 150 meters of height. Located in Marin County, the Muir Woods has 295 hectares of giant trees, or redwoods, which look like part of a fantasy forest, with trunks having a diameter of between 6 and 8 meters wide. The Muir Forest has more than 6 kilometers of trails, with different paths that allow you to explore the forest, some longer than others: the most popular are: the Main Road, the Road Dispea, and the so-called Ocean View Route.
