Which American Indian population was heavily settled in northern Georgia before forced migration

    It was the Cherokee tribe. They were affected by the Indian Removal Act that made them relocate to another place. Thus, they filed a complaint on their rights to be within the borders of Georgia. Still, because they are people of the State the justice system ruled that they should abide by the existing laws of the land.
