Why were the colonist beginning to get angry?

    They started getting really shaken up after the British King imposed several unnecessary and unfair taxes on the colonies. Their rallying cry was, "no taxation without representation!" meaning that Britain had no right to go ahead with these taxes without the colonists' support.
