How are independent agencies beneficial to the federal bureaucracy as a whole

    Independent agencies are beneficial because they show a non governmental view and an opinion that usually monitors federal activities and reports it to the people, or to other agencies, and thus protects the people. They can also supervise things that government agencies are not allowed to do or simply don't have the resources to do.
