How did jobless workers use their skills in hoovervilles?

    Hoovervilles were shanty towns in which homeless and jobless individuals created housing out of whatever materials they could find. This included lumber, cardboard, and tar paper. Creating these types of houses showed the innovation and skill set of these individuals.
