Cons - 1. Your children would have been in arranged marriages 2. YOU were probably in an arranged marriage 3. You were responsible for the care of your kingdom 4. In a battle you probably had to fight and you were a prime target 5. Respect had to be upheld 6. Tough decisions such as who should live and die 7. Civil War 8. Little time at home
